UPCOMING ELZENHOF'S ART WORKSHOPS | Autumn 2020

 

Are you up for some art? Upcoming Elzenhof's Art Workshops By Verónica Arís Autumn Module - from October to December We are starting the enrollment to the new period of Elzenhof's art workshops at See U. As usual, we offer workshops for a period (not per class nor per month). A period or module has around 10 classes (sometimes can be 9 classes because of Belgian holidays). However, after COVID-19 we cannot guarantee that there won't be another sudden lock-down. This way, we will do the payment process of the period-module this time per month and not all on one go in the beginning as we did before. So, if something happens (hope not), we will just need to recover 1 or 2 classes but not almost an entire period. Please apply with the commitment to the period for the good of the art world (teacher and models). Note 01: Normally I give these workshops in English, but I can also turn into Spanish and French if you need so during the class (hope soon I will be able to do it in Dutch). Since everyone comes from different countries, English has been the neutral language so far. Note 02: I can accept maximum 6 students (to respect 1,5 m distance measure). The workshops with life models will run only if they have minimum 5 students enrolled for the 10 classes.

Portrait Training  This workshop is aimed to provide you the chance of improving both your sketch skills (Spaghetti line, structure, blocking-in) as well as your interpretative skills by shading. To fulfill all of that, we will practice poses from 5 to 40 minutes.  This workshop will be on Mondays from 19h to 21h. As an average amount, the workshop will be 75 euros per month, with life model included (4 classes per month). The month with less classes will be calculated proportionally and the same the one that has more than 4 classes. (*) This new measure of payment is aimed to avoid economic complications in case of a new lock-down. Classes on: October 12, 19, 26 (57 euros) November 02, 09, 16, 23, 30 (94 euros) December 07, 14 (38 euros)

All art projects workshop (*) In my case, I will draw mythic characters This workshop is new. In the beginning, it was about how to create a character letting your imagination run as far as it can do if you are into a comic project for instance. However, later I open it to a broader goal such as: ALL POSSIBLE ART PROJECT. This way, you can do during the 10 sessions what you dream to do. Do you have something in mind but you need help to do it, like a coach that can give you the precise hint to succeed? Are you willing to do a portrait from picture and you want to make it cool and you need help for that? Are you planning a comic but you are lacking some knowledge on perspective? Would you like to explore freely some materials that are new for you and you need technical guidance? Personally, I will be working on the fantastic anatomy of mythological characters, taking as reference the book: The resurrectionist (crazy book! You will love it!). Are you curious? Anyway, I will work when you are busy as well, otherwise I will be there for you as your coach, teaching you all you need to know to succeed in your project. All materials are welcome. This workshop will be on Tuesdays from 19h to 21h. Average price is 50 euros per month (4 classes per month). The month with less classes will be calculated proportionally and the same the one that has more than 4 classes. Figure Drawing Training  This workshop is aimed to provide you the chance of improving both your sketch skills (Spaghetti line, structure, blocking-in) as well as your interpretative skills by shading. To fulfill all of that, we will practice poses from 40 seconds to 40 minutes.  This workshop will be on Thursdays from 19h to 21h.  As an average amount, the workshop will be 75 euros per month, with life model included (4 classes per month). The month with less classes will be calculated proportionally and the same the one that has more than 4 classes. (*) This new measure of payment is aimed to avoid economic complications in case of a new lock-down. Classes on: October 15, 22, 29 (57 euros) November 05, 12, 19, 26 (75 euros) December 03, 10, 17 (57 euros)

Interpretation one-day-workshop This is also a new workshop. It is about interpretation. The life model will come suggesting a topic, dressed up for the occasion. Don´t miss it! All materials are welcome. Personally I will work with oil on canvas. To give you an idea, we will work from 11h to 13h, then we go for lunch, and later we will work again from 14h to 16h. One hour for lunch is a nice moment to have a picnic here and get to know each other. This workshop is on Saturdays from 11h to 16h, however, not every Saturday. Only twice per month. The average amount is 75 euros per month, with life model included. Classes on: October 17, 31 (75 euros) November 14, 28 (75 euros) December 05, 12 (75 euros).
