I hope my email finds you well and full of energy to start the AUTUMN MODULE!
Many things are happening in my life right now so I decided to plan the full module to do this planning task just once. The Autumn module covers from the end of September (now) until midsts of November. A very good news is that I will start giving attendance courses in 3 Cultural Centers in Brussels: Elzenhof (Kroonlaan 12, 1050 Ixelles), Metaprosa (Chausee Saint Pierre 9, 1040 Etterbeek), and Cultural Creative Corner (Potaardestraat 36, 1950 Kraainem). This way, this Autumn I will offer 3 online workshops and 3 attendance workshops. Which one suits you better?

| ONLINE WORKSHOPS You know already how it works. You choose freely the classes you want to be in. They can be all of the same kind or you can try one of each, as you wish. Also, you know that 1 class costs 7 euros, but 4 classes 25 euros. This way, if you want to be in 8 classes, it will be 50 euros. And if you want to be in 6 classes, it will be 25 + 14 = 39 euros.
Since this time it is for an entire module, you can try 4 classes, and then you can add another 4 classes, and so on.

| ATTENDANCE WORKSHOPS
The attendance courses are another story in all senses. Each of them are one of a kind. They are about different techniques, topics, prices, way to sign in and also in different cultural centers as I mentioned before:
Elzenhof (Kroonlaan 12, 1050 Ixelles), Metaprosa (Chausee Saint Pierre 9, 1040 Etterbeek), and Cultural Creative Corner (Potaardestraat 36, 1950 Kraainem).

On Thursdays evenings, I will offer a watercolor workshop at ELZENHOF (Kroonlaan 12, 1050 Ixelles). Normally a month (4 classes) is 50 euros, but since the period of this module of 8 classes is a bit strange because it starts now, we can arrange the payment as follows: Alternative 1: You can pay 100 euros in one go for the full module.
Alternative 2: You can pay 50 euros for the first 4 classes (29.09, 06.10, 13.10, 20.10) and then the second 50 euros for the last 4 classes (27.10, 10.11, 17.11, 24.11).
Alternative 3: You can pay the exact amount of the given classes during the month: September 12,50 euros (1 class), October 50 euros (4 classes), November 37,50 euros (3 classes).

Este taller de pintura al acrílico tendrá lugar los días viernes de 19h a 20h30, con el objetivo transversal de ser un momento para despejarte de esa semana de trabajo que recién termina e inspirarte para comenzar el fin de semana. ¿Qué mejor que con una rica cerveza o vino, en un ambiente positivo y creativo con gente interesante?
Será un taller de pintura para principiantes cuyo objetivo será conocer a fondo pintores de la cultura de habla hispana. Empezaremos con el pintor español Joaquín Sorolla durante el mes de octubre, y seguiremos con la pintura mexicana Frida Kahlo para el mes de noviembre. Haremos 4 sesiones por cada uno con tal de tener tiempo para descubrir su paleta de color, su gesto pictórico y su composición. Todo ello con una cañita de bienvenida que nos invitará gentilmente el Centro Cultural, y luego, pues, con lo que quieras seguir tomando. El bar estará abierto hasta las 21h30.
El taller tendrá por mes dos tipos de valores dependiendo de lo que más te acomode a tu idea de trabajo:
- 100 euros el mes incluye: Acrílicos y barniz protector. Esta opción es conveniente para todos aquellos que quieran invertir un poco más en el soporte, como telas de algodón o lino, o bien variar el tamaño del soporte, o quieran hacer una serie de detalles tipo políptico, por ejemplo, etc. Imagínate que quieres hacer un regalo de Navidad y quieres más libertad para elegir tus materiales. Si es así, esta opción es para ti. O bien para aquellos que quieran probar primero con el papel para pintar antes de hacer proyectos más ambiciosos. Si este último es tu caso, recuerda traer además una madera o algo firme que sirva de soporte para poner el papel. Aquí te esperamos con atriles de mesa.
- 150 euros el mes incluye: Acrílicos, barniz protector, 4 cartones entelados 30x40 cm. Esta opción es super conveniente para aquellos principiantes que o no tienen tiempo de conseguir los materiales, o les es difícil portar los materiales al Centro Cultural, o bien, que a la hora de comprar materiales entrar a tiendas como Schleipper les daría un poco de agobio entre tantas opciones de marcas, calidades y precios. Si estás en esta situación, quizás este primer mes te convenga tomar esta opción, y ya para el segundo mes puedas atreverte a elegir tu soporte.
(*) OJO: Los pinceles siempre serán de uso personal, ya que su vida depende del cuidado que cada cual haga de ellos. Si eres principiante o no tienes mucho presupuesto, te recomiendo comenzar con un set de pinceles sintéticos (los de pelito amarillo). Son suaves y no muy caros, y vienen en un set que te da variedad de formas y tamaños.

Only one Tuesday per month (most of the time the first one - but not always), I will offer an acrylic painting workshop at Cultural Creative Corner (Potaardestraat 36, 1950 Kraainem), as a chance to chill painting while drinking wine.
On each date, we will follow a Great Master, so for those Art Lovers-Addicts, this is amazing! Somehow you will become your idol. I will teach you how to succeed in order to get as close as possible to his work. For instance, our first workshop will be next Tuesday 4th of October! What is it about? Can you guess?

Yea! Exactly! René Magritte. This painting looks super realistic and it is hard to believe that we may get closer to that level. Do you trust me? It is not as hard as it seems. We have to manage very well the sky, and later just work on the silhouette of the trees and house. Nothing to be scared about. If we have additional time, we can spot the artificial light with the windows of the house and the reflection on the water. Don't you see? We can make it! I will give you the secrets of blending with acrylics while painting clouds. Yay!
