Elzenhof's Art Workshops at See U | Winter Module 2020
I am pleased to announce that it is open the enrollment to the winter module of Elzenhof's Art Workshops at See U. This time, I will offer the following workshops:
'Portrait + life model' on Mondays (19h-21h): A nice moment to relax and discover the mystery of human semblance and expression. We train the way to get accurate structures and proportions and sensitive interpretations of the life model. During the first hour, we warm up with sketches of the pose in order to analyse the structure and proportions. During the second hour, we interpret the model with charcoals from B to H. All on paper A3. Check if the paper is for charcoal.
'Human Figure + life model' on Wednesdays (19h-21h): The human body talks about gravity, movement, and balance. We train to be able to draw those invisible forces of the life model. During the first hour, we warm up sketching different poses with graphite pencils. During the second hour, we interpret the model with charcoal. All on paper A2. Check if the paper is for charcoal.
'Painting best practice' on Saturdays (11h-13h): Painting requires not only knowledge concerning how to see the model but also regarding how to use the materials and why. We work different topics (from still life to life model) depending on the expertise of the group. We start with acrylics to later on move on to oil on canvas. Canvas preferentially sized A3, maximum A2, due to the size of the facilitated table easels of the workshop (Check HERE the materials).
